Once again I'll begin by pointing out that this book is often in the Teen section of the library and between people having their heads removed and the graphic sex scenes, this falls firmly into YA, emphasis on the "A." While the sex in the second book was steamy too, by this one I was wishing Maas could find some other words. I don't think I'll be able to read the word "worship" or "feast" again without a little ick. So I've again used up a lot of space analyzing sex. The rest of the book is, once again, brilliant. We're never sure who is good or bad or anyone's true motives. Watching Feyre grow into her powers continues to be intriguing and entertaining. Maas could take a page from George RR Martin and be willing to kill off some main characters. It's amazing how they all come through time and again. Despite that, these novels are fun fairy tales where the heroine doesn't need to be saved, so yea for that!
