This zany absurd middle-grade book was truly delightful. Out of desperation a father hires a pig as a nanny, but not just any pig. Nanny Piggins is sassy, very well-dressed and full of life. The book is a lively series of adventures, each more preposterous than the last, but this book is overflowing with fun and zest. Nanny Piggins is fabulous in every way. This book has the type of topsy-turvy subversive humour of Pippi Longstocking or David Walliams' books. Very goofy and fun and highly recommended.
