This is a delightful book that will be of interest to those with a passion for building (and for buildings) - and those with an interest in literature, art, and the creative process. As Rybcynski narrates the evolution of his own building project, he enriches the text with stories, anecdotes, and references to famous artists, writers, and architects, past and present. Charming and highly readable.
