This film should be required viewing for every school in the western world.
All people who contribute to animal rights and wildlife organizations should see it.
If you have any feelings for all indigenous peoples of North America, and want them treated
as humans worthy to live their subsistence traditional life style, and not driven down to
extreme poverty, starvation, increasing rates of suicide, and hopelessness, please watch this film and help these people survive.

This film presents an excellent alternative perspective on animal rights.
It is an expose' on the hypocrisy of rich white people and shows the continuing efforts to marginalize and subdue the indigenous people of North America.
Recognize that native peoples (Lummi, Sioux, Inuit...) are the #1 threat to the status quo in the United States & Canada since judicial systems have the potential to oversee the return of lands stolen over the past few centuries.

Like everyone else, I thought it was cruel to kill those cute white baby seals. This film was a very revealing look at the impact of EU bans on seal products on the Inuit hunters. The seals were never endangered, and there numbers increased from 2 million to 8 million as a result of the ban. Besides learning how the Inuit were impacted, I also learned how easily people, including me, can be manipulated through advertising by environmental groups whose objective is sometimes to increase donations more than to help the environment and animals.

This movie did a great job explaining things from an Inuit perspective. I can't wait to show my kids

A must see film for every Canadian. This film should be shown in every school in the country. The facts of the hunt vs the myths developed by money grabbers. Go out and buy Seal skin today! Things made of seal skin last for over 100 years and don't destroy the land after use. More Inuit need to wear seal as well as all Canadians.
