This was an early style offering of the talent driven movie model. The artistic integrity is the colossal acting weight. Before this... producer driven dips in the seams. Not the greatest of formula but one I have grown to appreciate over others. Which is to say I haven't seen RE in so long I CAN'T WAIT!!

Excellent movie and acting by all those who starred in it-my opinion.

Maybe one day the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will see fit to honor Crispin Glover's performance in RIVER'S EDGE.

A stellar dark true-crime style story concerning murder and the reactions of a network of friends. Crispin Glover and Dennis Hopper both deliver memorable performances. The film addresses disaffected youth.
