This is a masterfully written treatise on a subject of extreme importance in our 21st century world of convenience and resource exploitation. Kaleeg Hainsworth's spiritual ecology is a concept that we should all be talking about - and developing within ourselves. A deeply personal account filled with vulnerability, peppered with timeless quotes from great figures, both secular and religious, this book is a joy to read. Finally a book that realizes the need we all feel deep inside. He describes a path that will lead one to a richer life, for oneself and for all of God's creation. I took this book out from the library, but was so touched by it, I will be ordering a copy and telling every nature lover I know about its great value. Do yourself a favour and read this book!

“I have stood on promontories in the mountains, knelt before flowers aglow in the sun, watched an eagle swoop and sweep above me, heard the call of the loons over a dark blue lake veiled in white morning mist and I have been refreshed in my soul by the living beauty I experienced.” (pg. 57)
