This is worth checking-out just to read the introduction, which utilizes a really fun assortment of metaphors to review the basics... aperture vs. shutter speed vs. ASA, etc., etc..

Then you just page through the various lessons or assignments and pick ones that interest you.

Recommended for all camera abilities, especially someone with a new SLR who needs an excuse to discover or try all the various settings.
