These adventures are indeed told with great deprecating, sarcastic humor; P. Alexander is indeed a great master of the spin and acting and is able to deftly impart much historical and sometimes exaggerated fact into the background of his new employers to make this very readable and interesting. Do not expect insight into choosing your job path or gaining insight into your discontented self, however. I hope that Prioleau finally comes to the realization that he is an alcoholic. That is a SAD fact of the deluded self in denial.
