The first chapters were hard to get through because of the author's style of writing -- annoying! But it got better as it went along. Interesting to see how many people were important to their success. It is clear that it takes more than talent to become a phenomenon -- it takes people who are willing to help!

Definitely an authority on their history, well written and enthralling at times. The pictures included were nice to see and helped to identify some of the key players in the Beatles legacy. For anyone who thought the Beatles had simply stumbled upon their success should read this book to see how hard they really had to work to make it all happen.

Haven't yet read this, but felt compelled to comment, because my husband relieved me of the book the day I brought it home and has been nose-deep ever since. He's not much of a reader, so that's a fairly strong review in and of itself!
