Once more Robinson waves the Yankee flag while denigrating everyone else. Another bunch of unbelievable propaganda.
Robinson's earlier books about the Seals or US Navy were very good. - Lately, as in this one the plots are simply too unreal. This and his last were also filled with technical errors regarding engines, ships and weapons. - I simply can't understand that - -typos ? maybe? - For instance at one point the pirates are looking for " a fast boat 75 -85 feet long, about 2,500 tons " Those sizes would get you something like a fat garbage scow !
I only persevered as I hoped it would improve - it did marginally.
Patrick Robinson does it again! Wow!
Action packed and engaging. Having said that though, did seem a bit "rushed" at the end!
As a fan of Patrick Robinson I have eagerly awaited each of his new books. But with 'The Delta Solution' I am dissapointed too many pages of data before the story starts to unfold. In summation a story line that promised so much, and delivered so little.
And why must modern fiction writers, constantly allow their own personal political views to intrude into their work. It makes one wonder who they are writing for.
Very dissapointing. I have read most of Patrick Robinson's books and found them to be entertaining and enjoyable.
The "Delta Solution" is boring with two hundred fifty pages of needless detail and no action. There is no character development and a plot with good potential that never gets off the ground.
I would not recommend it.
