Didn't enjoy this book. More on growing up as a nerd, little Springsteen insights.

This is a mix of information about Springsteen and selected albums/songs that were vital to Wiersema starting when he is a young teenager in a very small Fraser Valley town to today (when he is an acclaimed writer, husband and dad). I am not a super-devoted Springsteen fan, but I really liked this book. Wiersema's voice is great - candid and funny. It's also compassionate - toward himself and his family, and toward Mr. Springsteen. Great memoir of two men's lives - and while I likely won't be searching out those pinnacle bootlegs that Wiersema recommends, I will soon bring up some Springsteen performances on YouTube. And, I am recommending this book!
