This book in its first few chapters accomplished the goal of making all of the readers hate the antagonist Quinn. I guess my favorite thing about the book is how it dropped some names that relate similarly to the characters of the TV show Daria (Quinn = evil step-sister, Jane Lane = Best friend, etc...). I am a big fan of Daria, but then later the author goes further than I guess I expected by exploring the life of Quinn after her passing. What came off as a trope-y YA novel really blew me away.
