Poirot Investigates a host of murders most foul--as well as other dastardly crimes--in this intriguing collection of short stories from the one-and-only Agatha Christie.

First there was the mystery of the film star and the diamond . . . then came the "suicide" that was murder . . . the mystery of the absurdly cheap flat . . .a suspicious death in a locked gun room . . . a million dollar bond robbery . . . the curse of a pharaoh's tomb . . . a jewel robbery by the sea . . . the abduction of a prime minister . . . the disappearance of a banker . . . a phone call from a dying man . . .and, finally, the mystery of the missing will.

What links these fascinating cases? Only the brilliant deductive powers of Hercule Poirot!

At first discovering that unlike other Poirot novels this was a collection of short cases was disappointing. However, it quickly grew on me as a small glimpse of how Poirot operates between the big cases. How the utilization of those "little grey cells" benefit the most patient and observant. Next time I am in between Poirot novels I am going to think of this occurring between the big cases. The tales were intriguing morsels left to linger in the imagination and make someone curious to read a longer tale. Very good.

I very seldom enjoy short stories, but I definitely enjoyed these.

Absolutely LOVE Agatha Christie! Amazing how Poirot can solve a case in such a short amount of time....just using his "little gray cells"

Short stories, read by David Suchet.

I think we've listened to all of these, but I'm not sure.

Delicious little confections that have a bite in the center, this is now ordinary box of mystery stories. Poirot is at his most stupendous and each tale is delightfully charming and puzzling. Thank you, Mrs. Christie!

If you think at any time that I am growing conceited -it is not likely, but it might arise. Eh bien, my friend, you shall say to me, Chocolate Box. Is it agreed?

To start at the beginning is not a waste of time, but the only way.

All the clues are in here! See you, I need not have left London. It would have been sufficient for me to sit quietly in my rooms there. All that matters is the little grey cells within. . . With method and logic one can accomplish anything!
