I've enjoyed his Lewis series, but this is the 2nd book I've read featuring Enzo Macleod.
It promised to be a good mystery at the start, and I enjoyed reading about wine production in France and the contrast with the US. I found the ending to be rather contrived and unbelievable. The constant coming and going of the various female characters and the author's preoccupation with describing figures and many references to large breasts turned me off. Also the fate of the "character" Braucol was upsetting. A disappointing read.

TMI about wine making and criticism that became didactic after awhile. Interesting characters, though.
