Could it be honorable, decent, notable human rights lawyer, Mark Darcy? Or, is it charming, witty, and totally despicable, Daniel Cleaver?

Very light and silly. Thinnest plot of all the Bridget Jones books.

As a roundabout way of producing another book to follow the movie, this actually worked out pretty well. Set in the time when she was pregnant with her son, Bridget is as fun and quirky as always.

I'm not sure why I picked this up because I was feeling like the whole Bridget Jones thing was done. But it was good. Very funny and fun to read. I would recommend it for sure.

A natural fit between Bridget's adventures in 'Edge of Reason' and 'Mad About the Boy'. It closes in gaps regarding Bridget's pre-married life but doesn't hold all of the spark that the original book does.

Overall a fun and quick read.

I loved my short (but still sweet) time with Bridget Jones, the best single lady character ever. I say skip "Mad About the Boy" and just read this one--you'll be less disappointed. Mark Darcy forever! (Okay, well, maybe with a little bit of that rakish Daniel Cleaver.)

A fun way to revisit Bridget Jones, set between Edge of Reason and Mad About the Boy. Light and fun and exactly what you expect it to be.

This is my least favorite of the 4 Bridget Jones books, but still an entertaining read. Why I didn't like this one as much (all stuff from the first few chapters so not really spoilers I think):
1) That's a ridiculous way for an engagement to break up.
2) Why would she sleep with the guy who abandoned her in a foreign country (in last book)!?
3) And after that lapse of judgement, no matter the result, why would she continue to let him be in her life at all!?
