Another excellent book from the author of "The Life We Bury." Three of the characters from Eskens' previous book appear in this one, but the story is equally as good and can easily be read as a standalone. Although there is some predictability to this story, Eskens is still learning his craft and appears to be getting better with each book. I'm looking forward to the next offering by this author.

I can't really add any comments more meaningful than the reviews for this book. This is the 1st book I have read from Allen Eskens, and I liked the book so much that I am going to find and read the rest of his works. The books unfolds not unlike what you may expect, however the plot twists and the most realistic dialogues I have seen in a long while kept me reading long into the night. Check it out!
ummmm . . . My fat fingers left 3 stars, but I really intended to leave 4 stars. I can't find a way to change my stars rating.
