5+ STARS!!

Near Perfection!

Having enjoyed many of Amy Harmon's books already, Making Faces was clearly on my radar. I had complete faith that I would enjoy this story as much as her others, but what I didn't expect was to be so drawn in that I lived this story along with Ambrose, Fern and Bailey.

Every book by this author is a unique experience, defying formulaic romance tropes. What I find remarkable about Amy Harmon's writing is how excellent she is at tying seemingly insignificant moments early on in the story to later scenes, making them poignantly significant. Not a word, paragraph, or chapter is pointless or simply fluff. Read this book, pay attention, take note, and enjoy the amazing experience.

This author has created a story with remarkable characters. I was so drawn in to the drama of the story that I cried, not once, but several times... which I never do. It also makes you laugh so don't get the impression that the story is all doom and gloom. It's wonderfully written and I plan to read more books by this author.
