"Finding Franklin" needs larger better modern maps with numbered sites showing where Franklin relics have been found or reported. Also, this book needs more images of Victorian art illustrating the public's dread of the Franklin expedition's fate.
It seems that Russell Potter (like most authors) supports the theory that the Franklin expedition went on a Death March pulling sledges with lifeboats with luxury goods southward along the coast of King William Island. IMHO, I would rate "Finding Franklin" at only 3.0 stars.
I find David C. Woodman's proposal, outlined in his book "Unravelling the Franklin Mystery: Inuit Testimony," to be much more enlightening.
