Jack Nash is the world's leading expert in conspiracies. And ever since his daughter Hazel was a little girl, Jack has shared these stories with her. Today, 30-year-old Hazel needs those stories. Why? Because she just woke up in a hospital with a brain injury that keeps her from remembering her emotional attachment to others, including herself. So when she's told that her father's dead, Hazel doesn't know if she's the next victim, or the actual killer.

Suspect co-author had a lot do with the fact that this is not nearly as good as Meltzer's previous books. The main character is intriguing and I'm sure there will be a sequel. Hope Meltzer writes it himself.

I have enjoyed many of Brad Meltzer's previous books. This one just didn't work for me. I struggled to finish the book, expecting things to get better at some point. They never did.

Surely not one of his best. The lead character is somewhat interesting, and the ending pretty much assures future books with her.

Another Meltzer conspiracy theory theme. Good but not one of his best. Not sure if this was due to there being a co-author. A few things left unanswered so I assume there will be a sequel. There were some good characters that have potential so we'll see where he goes with this.
