I am somewhat sadden that Sword of Truth series is now at it's conclusion, however I am also happy that it was a pretty good conclusion. Terry Goodkind has developed some very memorable characters of whom I'll miss. Richard Rahl has given me some very deep insight into how the world should be, rather than how it really is. Thank you Richard and Kahlan, for being who you are.

Nicely ties off the series, and is a fun read, with some spots of discomfort and uncertainty common to Goodkind's books. However, I did find that this particular book didn't do as good of a job of creating and leaving the reader in suspense like most of the previous installments. Most of the points in the story that were supposed to be a surprise or leave one fooled I was able to figure out very quickly, long before most of the usually very smart/clever characters, who were confused by what the reader can obviously see is happening. I think this did a disservice to those characters, making them appear much more naive than they would be at this juncture. Outside of that, I enjoyed the book, as I enjoyed the series, and intend to soon delve into the offshoot and side story novels as well.

It was a nice finish to the arc. Will miss...well I don't want to give it away.
