"but love, i've come to understand, is more than three words mumbled before betime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other every day."

"I read this book to fulfil the goal read a book that contains a wedding. I was pleasantly suprised. Like the Mark of a good book it brought tears to my eyes. I absolutely loved the ending.
The love story of Noah and Allie continues with a whole new generation and another love story filled with emotion, regret, promise, and hope.
When I first read this story as a senior in college, I found it the perfect companion to 'The Notebook', and in some respects a happier story.
Lots of thoughtful ideas about love, but the author lies to us about the characters' thoughts throughout the story. It's a dishonest story designed to pull your heartstrings.
The perfect summer read. This is Nicholas Sparks at his finest. The rekindling of a long marriage's fire is no small task, but Wilson delivers, boy does he deliver.
As the sequel to Nicholas Sparks's The Notebook, I think that it's wonderful and amazing. To experience such a heartwarming love story is exactly what I needed!
This book is definitely one of the best by Nicholas Sparks. The couple in this book is struggling and falling "out of love" so it really is sad. However, there is hope! The love story is truly beautiful and the ending is such a surprise. I was satisfied :)
One of the few Nicholas Sparks novels with a happy ending:)
I only checked this out because it was the sequel to the Notebook. Which I absolutely loved! I loved how it incorporated more of Noah & Allie's story, and still kept some of their romance in it. I also loved the main story, which focuses on the relationship between their daughter and her husband. It's very sweet. And I was hoping that all along the wedding would be for her. Great book =]
Found this novel was talking about my life. 30 years married this November, 2 Daughters and 1 son. Enjoy every minute of this novel and on occasion brought tears to my eyes.
