One of Trent Reznor's finest pieces of work. Anything he does with NIN will forever be compared to The Downward Spiral and Pretty Hate Machine; however, for a new era of his career this album is the flagship. Intricate, interesting grooves, catchy hooks, and visceral sound design. This album took me from being a casual NIN listener to a massive fan.
Where is my Trent full of hatred and angst? It was head like a hole that hooked me all those years ago so this too much of a change for me. I don't like the happy-Trent's music much.
Trent did some great work early on, but let's face it...his best days are in the past. I can't imagine fans new or old being a fan of this one.
Decent album, several decent songs. This is the first album since "The Slip" (2008) and they haven't disappointed me yet. Nine Inch Nails, how I have missed thee.
Good recording, this band is worth listening to,I recommend it.
The only worthwhile tracks are Copy of A and various methods. This album is an embarrassment. It sounds dated, the lyrics are lame and the songs are very poorly produced. I never thought Ghosts would ever be topped as the worse NIN album.
