Canada's waters yield some of the most varied and delicious fish and seafood on the planet: sweet shellfish (mussels, clams, shrimp and lobster), meaty saltwater fish (salmon, arctic char and halibut) and delicate freshwater fish (pickerel, pike and trout). To celebrate this bounty, the food experts in the Canadian Living Test Kitchen have created this essential collection of 110 fish and seafood recipes. Every single one-from appetizers to soups to main dishes-is Tested Till Perfect and focuses on sustainable options, both from Canada and abroad, so you can be confident in both your ingredient choices and the deliciousness of the meals you put on the table. The Canadian Living Test Kitchen creates and tests hundreds of recipes every year to ensure they turn out as perfectly in your home as they do in our kitchen. We develop each recipe with you in mind, using everyday ingredients and only the most common cooking equipment found in households across Canada. This makes cooking easier on you, leaving you more time to share good food with family and friends. Book jacket.
