Hannah's Pick: "This movie is a couple years old but I had never seen I assumed it was a Rom-Com, and that's just not my favourite type of movie. Instead, it's more of a Comedy mixed with Fantasy (also not my favourite, but here we are!) that is entirely charming. Brought to us by Richard Cu... Read More »

And in the end I think I've learned the final lesson from my travels in time; and I've even gone one step further than my father did: The truth is I now don't travel back at all, not even for the day, I just try to live every day as if I've deliberately come back to this one day, to enjoy it, as if it was the full final day of my extraordinary, ordinary life.
From IMDb:
Tim: We're all traveling through time together, every day of our lives. All we can do is do our best to relish this remarkable ride.

Tim: And so he told me his secret formula for happiness. Part one of the two part plan was that I should just get on with ordinary life, living it day by day, like anyone else.
Tim: But then came part two of Dad's plan. He told me to live every day again almost exactly the same. The first time with all the tensions and worries that stop us noticing how sweet the world can be, but the second time noticing. Okay, Dad. Let's give it a go.

Add a CommentAbout time I saw this movie! It is from 2013, but I had never heard of it, so glad I took the chance. An English production from the director of many memorable rom-coms, Richard Curtis , (Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), Notting Hill (1999), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), Love Actually (2003).
A surprise from beginning to end, it gets you to laugh, think, reflect and have fun. There are some language warnings and content warnings so take that into account for younger viewers or those sensitive. Super movie, great pick; go for it!
A very fun Rom-Con- fantasy movie. Somewhat of a tear jerker on family & life. I loved it.
There could not be a more perfect movie. I've seen the film several times, but each time I find something that I love about it. From the family dynamics to the romance and even time travel. I love love love everything about it.
This is not "The Time Traveler's Wife", but it also stars Rachel McAdams as the wife of a time traveler.
"About Time" is more than a romcom: It's a love story--finding love, and retaining love. Tim meets Mary, and the rest is history--that is revisited, explored, and modified.
If you need to rekindle a lost love, this is the movie for you.

If you are looking for a romantic comedy to watch with your beloved on Valentine's Day, this time travel relationship lark is delightful. If you need a message, it is that life is bittersweet so focus on the sweet parts and live life to the fullest, even if you can't time travel back to fix the awkward bits.
A sweet film about love. And time travel. val1's comments say it all.
Lovely, lovely film about love, relationships, and the care we have through time for each other and how it grows and changes and just gets better with time (pardon the pun)! The time travel twist made the movie just that much sweeter. I needed to sit and watch it in one sitting. Really, really enjoyed it!
Sweet movie, with a heartwarming message. I liked it better than Love Actually. I didn't know anything about it before I watched it, other than Bill Nighy was in it (who was great as usual). I liked being surprised by the plot, and enjoyed most of the characters, especially those in the leading roles.
Cute movie - a little long. They could have shaved it down to 90 minutes. All the same, if you enjoyed Love Actually, you will probably enjoy this.
Light-hearted British drama-comedy about limited time travel. Entertaining for all adults. Are there really dinner places that are in complete darkness? Doesn't sound like a very hygenic dinner venue.
