This book is a good suggestion for anyone that has an eating disorder or knows someone who is struggling with an eating disorder. Using two different points in time, describes how life changes with an eating disorder, and it is very specific.

This book was certainly very hard to read at certain parts, due to the depth of the writing and the heaviness of the subject. Yet it was still hard to put down. It really takes you through the life of someone with an eating disorder, and I felt like I finally kind of understood how it felt. Unless you are uncomfortable with the subject, I recommend this book.

Reading it for a second time, a good way for teens to learn the consequences!

A hard topic for some to read about but this is a really good book. I can't really say if its better or worse then any of the other books i've read on the topic but its worth the read.

annorexia...its such a sad but very true disease. This book is amazing even though i haven't finished it yet. Its so sad so far though. The way maddie thinks is almost scary. Even when everyone sees her as skinny or "skin and bones" she can still look into a mirror and see flaws and fat that she can get rid of. Its amazing to be inside the head of a girl who has driven herself so far into annorexia that she can't find her way back. Getting lost in this book is like getting lost in her mind and its so beautiful. Even if you are having a hard time with your weight, (which im sure most of us are) then please please please read this book. you will be WOWed i asure you. I'm almost done the book but i wish it were longer. Maddie's story is like most annorexia books, but idk this one seems better and unlike the rest. So go ahead, try it out :)
