This book was easy to read. It paced fairly well through out and the ending kept me turning pages.

The "twist" in the book was well thought out, despite having correctly guessed what it was, I enjoyed following it through to the end.

The final chapter left me a little wanting, but not so much that I was entirely disappointed.

The book is slow moving during the first half as characters and relationships develop. I am glad I kept reading as the second half was engaging and surprising. I recommend this book to those who enjoy suspense.

Far too often the action is paused and we are treated to page after page of tedious back story and dialogue. I skipped over large sections of the book. The ending was melodramatic and implausible.

Nonetheless, she looked good - insouciant, almost rakish.
