Excellent series on the Nazi invasion of the Channel Island in WWII.

Totally flawless acting! This is an amazing film that will make one question 'how would I handle interactions with the enemy"?

There is one reason that I could not give it the full 5-star rating, and that is because it ends abruptly, still in mid-war with many unanswered questions. It just suddenly stops in the most unexpected place and way, that is so weird!

I intend to try "Enemy At The Door next, which is essentially the same story. I also plan to read "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer " which is about the German occupation of Guernsey in WW II.

Island At War was still worth watching but I would warn that it is not for children as there are some sexual situations with a Sleazy German who almost rapes one woman and blackmails one of the main characters who is a Jew, to have sex with him,and two scenes of consensual sex, nothing really explicit, except when that sleazy German orders the Jewish woman to strip for him it shows full frontal nudity.
