For ages 3-5. When little monkey George is brought from the jungle into the city, his curiosity about all the new things around him gets him into trouble.
I seen this book of Curious George yesterday in stores i started looking at this book when i saw it i knew you guys have this book cause i remeber seeing it on the library website that's how i knew it was the same book .
I always feel funny reading this story to my child. It has a rather graphic kidnapping scene, a monkey smoking a pipe, & getting thrown in jail. Definitely a classic, but I find myself skimming over the less appropriate pages.

My son loved this book. He watches the television show on PBS and has seen both of the Movies, yet somehow, the book really kept him! He's a bit easy to distract too, so I was impressed! Great job R.A. Rey!

At one point in this story, it shows a picture of George smoking a pipe (with smoke, not bubbles, coming from the pipe), and says something along the lines of, "after a good pipe, George goes to sleep."
