Join Aurora Public Library for a live screening of CBC's Canada Reads, a four-day series of debates to determine which single book every Canadian should read this year!
Five books have been shortlisted, and each book has been championed by a different celebrity guest, who will argue their merits under this year's theme: One Book to Build Bridges.
This year's books, and their defenders, are:
- Filmmaker and actor Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers, defending A Minor Chorus by Billy-Ray Belcourt
- Hockey YouTube personality and podcaster Steve “Dangle” Glynn, defending Searching for Terry Punchout by Tyler Hellard
- Musician and writer Tegan Quin, defending The Cure for Drowning by Loghan Paylor
- Broadway actor and kids TV host Josh Dela Cruz, defending Foe by Iain Reid
- BookTok star Morgann Book, defending It's Different This Time by Joss Richard
